PRIDE AND POWERPride arising from the will to power is prompted by man’s carnal desire for power and it inevitably leads to despotism and dictatorship. If this should be undertaken in the name of Islam, then it will cause irreparable damage. History has shown that all self-willed and headstrong men have tended towards destruction, but the prophets and Imams’ humility has always gained them a special place in the hearts of the people.
