Issue 27: Istibra' is a recommended act for men to do after urinating and it can be done in different ways the best of which is that after urinating, first one must purify their anus if it is impure and then press the part between anus and the root of penis by the help of the middle finger of the left hand three times. Thereafter, they must place their thumb on and the fore finger below the penis and press it three times up to the point of circumcision. Finally, they must press the head of the penis three times.

Issue 28: The moisture which is at times discharged by men during wooing and playing with their wives is called “Mathi”. Mathi is pure and so is the liquid which is at times discharged after ejaculation. The latter is called “Wathi”. Similarly, the liquid which at times comes out after urine is called “Wadi” and it is pure provided that urine has not reached it. If a person performs Istibra' after urinating, and then discharges a liquid about which they doubt whether it is urine or one of the above-mentioned liquids, that liquid is pure.
